Why RespiroFLOW

What is the State of FLOW ?
The Flow state is a concept developed by psychologist Mihály Csíkszentmihályi that describes an optimal state of mind where a person's abilities are balanced with the challenges of the task, generating a sense of fluidity and satisfaction. Flow, also known as flow state, is a psychological concept that describes the feeling of complete immersion and concentration in an activity, losing track of time and external distractions. It is an optimal state of mind where one feels totally absorbed and committed to what one is doing.

Why re-learning how to breathe is so vital
Every day, we take between 20,000 and 30,000 breaths, which adds up to about 10 million breaths a year and a trillion over a lifetime. Despite all this breathing, most people probably aren’t using their lungs to their full potential. This means we might be wasting energy by not breathing as effectively as possible. Unfortunately, many people ignore their breathing, and poor breathing habits are common today.
Think about the last time you took a slow, deep breath and felt the connection between your breathing, body, and mind. Our bodies have an amazing ability to change, even more than scientists used to think. Recent studies show that we can train our lungs to get bigger and that positive thoughts can improve our brain health.
It seems strange that something as natural as breathing can be so misunderstood. Animals and kids naturally breathe deeply into their bellies, using their lungs fully. But many people, especially busy people, don’t do this. This is often due to social and cultural habits, combined with the fast pace of modern life, which disconnect us from our bodies. As a result, we forget the importance of calm, deep breathing, something we were born knowing how to do.
Living a fast-paced life often means not paying attention to our bodies. Many people think only a few special individuals have control over their breathing. While it won’t solve all your stress or workload issues, getting more oxygen into your body and calming your nervous system can help you handle daily pressures better. Just remembering to think about your breathing can be the first step towards a more balanced life.
